They derive from our published editorial picks and research coverage — the same data that renders on our comparison pages — and every badge can be verified against the live eligibility lists below. Badges cannot be bought. Sponsorship buys the separate, clearly-labeled placements described on /sponsor, never a badge. If we change a pick, eligibility changes with it.
