Issue(s) Addressed: Performance Enhancement
Description of Issue: The IDSync Cloud Billing system is derived from an on-premise billing product that IDSync developed in 2015 and 2016. The on-premise product provided the ability to post count and cost data into “Installed Products” on the Autotask platform instead of posting to Services or Service Bundles. That feature was discontinued due to lack of use and limited compatibility. However, the IDSync synchronization engine continued to pull “Installed Products” from the Autotask platform. This resulted in unnecessary API calls.
Resolution: IDSync synchronization engine has been updated to omit these unnecessary API calls and no longer queries “Installed Products”.
